Pathfinder Pedal (a brand of Concentric Industries LLC): Purchase Agreement & Limited Warranty
This document (the “Agreement”) governs your purchase of any e-bike or related product (the "Product") from Concentric Industries LLC, doing business as Pathfinder Pedal ("Pathfinder Pedal," "we," "us"). This Agreement is separate from our Terms of Service, which governs the use of our website.
You ("Purchaser," "you") consent to the terms of this Agreement by clicking "Complete Purchase" or finalizing your order.
Section 1: Our Role and Manufacturer's Warranty
As your "Trusted Guide" (per the Pathfinder Pedal: Brand & Operations Guide v1), we have curated a selection of high-quality products from our trusted manufacturing partners.
Pathfinder Pedal is a retailer, not a manufacturer. We do not design, build, or manufacture the products we sell.
Pathfinder Pedal does not offer, extend, or provide any separate or additional product warranty. Your product is covered only by the limited warranty provided directly by the original manufacturer. We pass these warranty terms through to you.
The specific terms of your warranty are based on the brand of the product you purchased, as detailed below.
Section 2: Manufacturer-Specific Warranty
PART A: Murf Electric Bikes Products
If Murf Electric Bikes manufactures the product you purchased, the following terms will apply:
- Two-Year Limited Warranty (Bike Components): Murf warrants to the original retail purchaser that all new Murf e-bikes are free from manufacturing defects in materials for a period of two (2) years.
- Two-Year Limited Warranty (Battery): Murf warrants to the original purchaser that the battery is free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase.
- Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not extend to and is voided by
- Normal wear and tear.

- Damage resulting from water or improper storage.
- Damage resulting from the purchaser exceeding the 250 lb. weight limit (which includes both rider and gear).
- Normal depletion of battery capacity over time.
- Warranty Claim Process: To make a claim, you must provide the original receipt of purchase. You are responsible for paying all costs associated with the claim, including labor for removal/installation, applicable taxes, and any shipping costs incurred in returning the product to the manufacturer for evaluation.
PART B: Products from Small Town Bike Co.
If your purchased product is manufactured by Small Town Bike Co., the following terms apply:
- Limited Warranty: Your product is covered by the limited warranty as provided directly by Small Town Bike Co. The specific terms of this warranty are available on the manufacturer's website or will be provided to you with your product. Pathfinder Pedal does not administer this warranty.
Section 3: Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability
This agreement governs the product; our terms of service govern our website.
All products are provided "as is" and "as available," without any representations or warranties from Pathfinder Pedal, except for the manufacturer warranties in section 2.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no case shall Concentric Industries LLC (Pathfinder Pedal), our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your possession or use of any product procured from us. Your sole remedy against the Pathfinder pedal shall be limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
Section 4 - Indemnification by Purchaser
This clause is essential for our risk management. You agree to indemnify and defend Concentric Industries LLC (Pathfinder Pedal) and our affiliates, officers, directors, and employees against any third-party claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from:
- Your misuse of the Product;
- Your violation of any law, rule, or regulation related to the use of the Product; or
- Your breach of this purchase agreement.
Section 5 - Age & Use Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that e-bikes are motor vehicles and are subject to state and local laws. You agree to be responsible for learning and adhering to all such laws.
If you are purchasing a Class 3 e-bike, you affirm that the bike will only be operated by users 16 years of age or older.
Section 6 - Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
In the interest of resolving disputes in the most expedient and cost-effective manner, you and Concentric Industries LLC agree that every dispute arising in connection with this Agreement or the Product you purchased will be resolved by BINDING ARBITRATION.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state where Concentric Industries LLC is headquartered.
